mo.blaze cone from motogadget - much more than just a handlebar end turn signal. The mo.blaze cone is the flashing signal light of the latest generation, awarded with the renowned iF product design award 2013. A well-known add-on part has been completely rethought, designed and technically very sophisticated implemented. Thanks to the new TranzLight-Technology (TLT, patent pending) from motogadget, the transparent body of the turn signal itself becomes the light medium. TranzLight-Technology® cleverly exploits the total reflection of light waves at interfaces of media with different optical densities. This progressive development approach is not limited to simple miniaturization of turn signal housings, but shapes the light directly via a crystal-like glass body. Only precise optical
CAD calculations and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes make this novel design and its function possible. The light flux required for the TranzLight principle is generated by the intensiLED® process developed by motogadget and consists of three important components: Specially selected, phosophor-converted high-power LED with highest efficiency and a total power of 3W with a lifetime of more than 50, 000 hrs. A 330kHz clocked IC controlled constant current source A special collimator optics, which couples the broadly scattering light of the LED into the plastic body with pinpoint accuracy. An important aspect of the TranzLight technology is the safety benefit due to the improved visibility of the flashing signal. The light is emitted at an angle of almost 180° and is therefore
visible from the front, rear and side. The blinker light can also be omitted - the function of the indicators can be checked directly at any time. A greatly reduced, discreet aluminum housing at the base is used only for the stable mounting of the plastic body and the integration of control electronics and high-end LEDs. Of course, the housing is made of solid aluminum, anodized in black or highly polished and finely inscribed by laser. The mo.blaze cone appears very neutral and inconspicuous due to the transparent plastic body. Thus, it fits many styles and the most diverse motorcycles. The transparent plastic body (PMMA) is extremely impact and scratch resistant. The turn signal can be operated like any other LED turn signal with load resistors or all load-independent flasher relays
