When converting the original turn signals, the flashing frequency may increase. Load-independent flasher relays (e.g. R2) or multifunctional assistance systems (e.g. CR4®) can provide a remedy. If this use is not possible or desired, power resistors connected in parallel can provide a remedy. On motorcycle models with an illumination indicator lamp in addition to the indicator lamp (especially older BMWs), this indicator lamp may be displayed incorrectly when the DF combinations are used. In this case, a resistor of 33 ohms in parallel to the tail light & a resistor of 7.5 ohms in parallel to the brake light is required.
