In addition, each X-803 features the Nolan Emergency Release System (NERS) for increased safety by quickly removing the cheek pads in the event of a crash. Another innovative feature is the Liner Positioning Control system (LPC). With the help of an easy-to-use adjustment strap, the liner & thus the helmet position of the X-803 RS can be individually adjusted in height to the head shape of the wearer. - Nolan Emergency Release System This patent-pending system allows emergency personnel to remove the cheek pads from the helmet while it is still being worn by the motorcyclist by simply pulling the red tabs on the front of the cheek pads. Single-piece cheek pads The internal padding in expanded foam for the cheek pads has been designed in order to provide superior even pressure & consistent performance over time compared to traditional padding. It can also be removed from its fabric coverings in order to make washing of the latter easier.
