For this reason, SIXS decided to put polypropylene inside in direct contact with the skin & keep the wool (merino) (known to be a bit rougher & bristlier than other yarns) outside. Wool has thermoregulation properties superior to all other natural fibers & acts as a barrier against cold. Polypropylene, on the other h&, is a hydrophobic yarn, meaning it does not absorb liquids & manages sweat optimally.
