The Mood Gore-Tex® motorcycle shoe is completely waterproof and breathable thanks to the Gore-Tex® membrane with Extended Comfort Footwear technology. It is ideally suited for daily use in all weather conditions. The reinforced inserts on the ankles, toes and heel provide excellent, certified impact protection. Maximum stability and a good driving feel are achieved by the abrasion-resistant profile made of rubber with differentiated grip. The upper is made of full-grain leather. Thanks to the classic lacing, similar to that of sneakers, the boot can be closed quickly and comfortably. The special microporous structure of the GORE-TEX fabric, made from expanded PTFE, contains around 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are approximately 20, 000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor. While water cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX membrane in liquid form, perspiration (water vapor) can easily evaporate.
