The microfiber, split leather and abrasion-resistant functional fabric upper is combined with the impermeable and breathable Gore-Tex® Performance membrane, making the Infinity 3 GTX boots suitable for all seasons and the most difficult climatic conditions. The special closure system with Rotor, which regulates the tension of the outer lace, is said to allow a millimeter-precise calibration of the fit in the area of the instep and shin. The closure system is rounded out by the adjustable
front strap with Velcro closure. The special Groundtrax® sole is designed for riding standing on the footpegs and features a special stiffness to provide the necessary support to the sole of the foot. The tread design and compound are optimized for maximum performance in all conditions and terrain. Reinforcements on the toe cap, shifting area, heel, ankle and shin provide maximum safety for off-road riding. The special microporous structure of the GORE-TEX fabric, made from expanded PTFE, contains around 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are approximately 20, 000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor. While water cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX membrane in liquid form, perspiration (water vapor) can easily evaporate. The result is
a completely waterproof barrier that means the shoe can be used in all climates and guarantees maximum comfort and optimal breathability.
