Comp Evo 2 Michelin® is characterized by the Double Flex Control system: An articulated structure placed on the ankle that allows great flexibility in the forward and backward movements of the joints, while avoiding the risk of unwanted twisting and overstretching. Protectors are fitted at all strategic points such as the shin, ankle, heel and toe cap. The Comp Evo 2 Michelin® are designed with Michelin® Hybrid MX sole, whose tread and compound have been specially developed to ensure exceptional grip on the footpegs of the motorcycle, even in adverse weather conditions and on all types of terrain, including the most extreme
situations of enduro riding. The closure system includes four polyurethane and aluminum buckles with micrometric adjustment. The inner shaft features hook and loop closures for millimeter fit adjustment. To further customize the fit, the Comp Evo 2 Michelin® feature the Calf Adjustment System, a system that allows you to adjust the front shin guard plate to two different positions, expanding the overall circumference. The breathable fabric lining and side vents keep the foot dry for maximum comfort. Double Flex Control System The Double Flex Control System features a PU joint in the ankle area studied to improve front and rear flexibility of the leg. The system is attached to the boot with two lateral hidden screws at malleolus level. This special construction allows a front flexibility of up to 18 degrees and, thanks to two lugs that slide inside dedicated pockets, it allows a rear flexibility of up to 15 degrees, thus avoiding back overextension of the ankle joint and protecting the riders’ foot from injuries. The footbed is sewn directly onto the boot and, using a high tenacity bonding process, the rubber (MICHELIN®) sole is subsequently
applied and is therefore easily replaced when worn.
