Homologation ECE 22-05 Shell The shell is made of TRICARBOCO fiber, a new composite that
allows to obtain a lighter shell but at the same time harder and more protective. The new composite is a mixture of carbon with different weight/breaking loads linked up with aramid resins that ensure a light shell but much more resistant to impacts. To satisfy even the most exigent customers, MX SPEED PRO is produced in two different shell sizes: M and L Protective Polystyrene Internal polystyrene liner is realized in two sizes (M and L) to obtain better ergonomics and a variable density. This characteristic allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the power produced by the impact. Even if most of the energy created by the impact is absorbed by the external shell, thanks to its deformation, the role of polystyrene is crucial for the absorption of the residual power. A different
density of the polystyrene allows to optimize the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene, ensuring the maximum level of absorption in all areas of the helmet. MIPS technology The MX SPEED PRO is equipped with MIPS technology, developed in Sweden, which reduces the rotational movement, absorbing and redirecting the rotational energy and the forces transferred to the brain by angled impacts to the head. Ventilation The air intakes have been designed to increase the internal comfort. The air flow is channeled through 4 large front openings protected by solid metal grids. The internal polystyrene protection and comfort caps have been optimized to work in symbiosis with the large air intakes. The particular grooves, obtained in the polystyrene, allow an optimized airflow inside
the helmet and, at the same time, a quick discharge of the hot air through the rear air vents. Interior The inner lining and comfort cheek pads are easily removable, washable and replaceable. They are made in fine bi-elastic fabric with specific fibers that offer the following characteristics: Hypoallergenic to minimize allergic reactions Rapid transport of body moisture Optimized temperature regulation Light, soft and breathable fabric Quick remove system for cleaning of the internal chin guard Emergency release system Cheek pad quick remove system for case of emergency. Retention system Light alloy “Double D-RING” retention system. Peak The brand-new peak has an elongated and enlarged profile. The result is an even more protective and multi-position tool-less adjustable peak. A
particular removable extension increases protection in the most extreme conditions. Mask fit The perimeter of the window is designed to offer a wide field of vision and at the same time provides a comfortable housing for the most ‘different types of motocross goggles.
