A deeply branched ventilation system provides fresh air and cooling even when the helmet is closed. The revolutionary SHOEI COMLINKS interface allows the perfect integration of the SRL3 MESH communication system from SENA. Smooth outer surfaces and transitions keep the rider s or driver s noise exposure at a low level. The micro-ratchet closure on the pleasantly narrow chin strap makes it easy to put on and take off this helmet model from SHOEI. Individual comfort The three different outer shell sizes (XS-M L XL-XXL) allow for a wide size range of the
SHOEI GT-Air 3 and at the same time an optimal helmet to rider size ratio. The three-dimensionally shaped head pad, the pre-shaped cheek pads with noise isolator and the chin strap pad are fully removable and washable. For individual adjustment of the helmet, head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses. A pad that can be inserted in the top of the head can be used to adjust the fit of the helmet vertically. The cheek pads, which are extended to the back of the head and have a voluminous underside, together with the removable ear pads make an effective contribution to noise reduction. Comprehensive safety The outer shell of the SHOEI GT-Air 3, made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), combined with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements of different
absorption capacity, provides optimal impact protection that meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard. The pleasantly narrow chin strap with micro ratchet closure is comfortable to use and holds the helmet securely in place. Grandiose view The clear CNS-3C visor fitted as standard opens up an almost unrestricted horizontal and vertical field of vision. It provides a good overview of the traffic scene, for greater safety in hectic road traffic. Its characteristic top edge, which is inclined towards the helmet shell, prevents drafts and rainwater from penetrating. The visor can be opened without torsion and reliably closed with the centrally positioned locking mechanism. For additional fresh air while riding, the visor mechanism allows the visor to be opened a gap wide.
The anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO visor supplied with the helmet ensures unobstructed vision even in adverse weather conditions. The integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun protection visor of the SHOEI GT-Air 3 can be continuously extended and almost completely covers the usable field of vision, even downwards. It can be replaced easily and without tools by an optional yellow-tinted visor with contrast-enhancing effect. This additional visor thus ensures optimum visibility for a wide range of applications and weather conditions. Controlled airflow Smooth surfaces and transitions reduce the helmet s wind resistance and noise impact on the wearer, but reveal the integrated spoilers on the sides and back of the helmet and thus the sporty character of the SHOEI GT-Air 3. Ventilation inlets directed
directly into the airstream take in fresh air to reduce the temperature and humidity inside the SHOEI GT-Air 3. A removable filter in the lower front ventilation prevents insects from entering. Raised ventilation controls allow the helmet to be operated even when wearing thick gloves, allowing it to be used in cold temperature zones or during the cold season. Perfect connection With the new SHOEI COMLINK interface, the GT-Air 3 is ready for the SENA® SRL3 Mesh communication system, exclusively available from SHOEI s range of accessories. Once paired with a cell phone, navigation device or other intercom devices, the SRL3 Mesh provides information and entertainment while riding, blending almost invisibly into the helmet shell of the GT-Air 3. The SRL3 Mesh delivers rich sound and
crystal clear voice transmission with its high-end speakers, high-quality microphone and sound system from Harman-Kardon®.
