Uncoated glass (e.g. windshield) Metals Fiberglass The tape will not hold on the following substrates: Rubber, TPU, TPE Leather Silicone Soft touch coating or paint Plastics with low surface energy such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acetal, HDPE. Application temperature: Optimum application temperature is between 70 °F (21 °C) & 100 °F (38 °C). It is not recommended to mount the bracket at temperatures below 10 °C (50 °F). Make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned & dry before attaching the dashboard/console bracket. 3M™ VHB™ is a disposable adhesive tape & cannot be reused. The Dashboard/ Console Mount is not recommended for use on motorcycles, scooters, ATVs or other applications with high frequency engine vibration.
