- Direct laminate membrane Do you want to save the rainwater during a rain storm or do you prefer to travel light & dry? Thanks to the revolutionary Outdry direct laminate membrane, the water is not trapped between the outer shell & the membrane, but it runs directly off the glove. This keeps your dry & warm hands in all seasons! Conventional systems absorb rainwater. The water passes through the non-watertight outer layer of the glove & is then blocked by the membrane. Water is trapped between these two layers & so the glove gets soaked further & feels clammy. Subsequently, the remaining water forms a film on the membrane, which is at the expense of the breathability.
