All in all, a properly designed connection means a big gain in comfort. The i XS engineers have dealt with the interface between jacket & pants in detail & found a solution that makes connecting the jacket to the pants even easier & faster: the pants can form a secure all-round connection with the jacket by using a strong zipper in the back to hold the jacket & pants together. At the front, the innovative i XS Magnetic Connection System (i MC) connects the jacket with the pants almost automatically by magnetic Fidlock quick-release fasteners. Quite simply, with just one finger, the closure can also be released again
- really clever. The absolutely secure Fidlock quick-release fasteners are combined with a sewn-in webbing system. The webbing system inside the jacket runs
- similar to a suspenders
- over the shoulder. Compared to a conventional connecting zipper, which is often only selectively attached to the inner lining of the jacket, the i MC system is much more tear-resistant & provides several times more security. An absolutely intentional side effect is that the webbing system also provides additional wearing comfort. It gives the pants a secure hold &, in combination with other adjustment options, results in a safe & comfortable wearing experience. Other advantages of the new type of connection system are the much more comprehensive options for individual sizing of jackets & trousers. On the one h&, jackets & pants of different sizes can be easily joined together thanks to i MC. On the other h&, you get much more leeway when adjusting the waistband of the pants. To enable a perfect fit, the i XS development team has designed a flexible waistband
