The iXS engineers have dealt with the interface between jacket & pants in detail and found a solution that makes connecting the jacket to the pants even easier and faster: the pants can form a secure all-round connection with the jacket by using a strong zipper in the back to hold the jacket and pants together. At the front, the innovative iXS Magnetic Connection System (iMC) connects the jacket with the pants almost automatically by magnetic Fidlock quick-release fasteners. Quite simply, with just one finger, the closure can also be released again - really clever. The absolutely secure Fidlock quick-release fasteners are
combined with a sewn-in webbing system. The webbing system inside the jacket runs - similar to a suspenders - over the shoulder. Compared to a conventional connecting zipper, which is often only selectively attached to the inner lining of the jacket, the iMC system is much more tear-resistant and provides several times more security. An absolutely intentional side effect is that the webbing system also provides additional wearing comfort. It gives the pants a secure hold and, in combination with other adjustment options, results in a safe and comfortable wearing experience. Other advantages of the new type of connection system are the much more comprehensive options for individual sizing of jackets and trousers. On the one hand, jackets and pants of different sizes can be easily
joined together thanks to iMC. On the other hand, you get much more leeway when adjusting the waistband of the pants. To enable a perfect fit, the iXS development team has designed a flexible waistband - the waistband can be variably adjusted up to 12 centimeters. For this purpose, 2 adjustment areas are built into the waistband on the right and left. The iMC system - another helpful piece of the puzzle for the uncompromising implementation of the iXS "PERFECT FIT" claim.
