Safety thanks to visibility.
- With HLS technology, Held brings light into the dark! The retrofittable Held Light System (HLS) is the latest development from Held to make motorcycling even safer. The illuminated LED modules, which are integrated into the protective clothing of the motorcyclist, provide a significantly better visibility of the rider in poor light conditions. During night, fog & rain rides the HLS technology is a decisive factor for accident prevention. In contrast to reflector strips, which can only reflect incident light, the light guides of the HLS light up independently & permanently
- a highlight in the truest sense of the word. The heart of the HLS technology is the HLS LED Set. It consists of two white & two red LED modules connected by a USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection cable. To use the HLS Set you need a compatible Held Jacket or Safety Vest with the feature "LED Prepared" & a standard battery pack (Powerbank) with USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection as power source. The installation of the HLS is done in a few steps: The LED set is inserted into the jacket or vest through the open zipper in the back compartment. Then the ends of the white light guides are inserted from the inside into the respective openings in the chest area of the garment & pushed completely through the mesh fabric tube. In the same way, the red light guides are threaded in the back area of the jacket or vest. After all four LED modules have been placed in the designated places, the USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable is led through the cable gland of the jacket or safety vest. Now the system is ready for use & can be switched on at any time by connecting the battery pack or switched off by disconnecting it. Features Active LED system for better visibility of the motorcyclist in darkness & poor visibility conditions High-quality OSRAM lamps with white light at the front & red light at the back Can be integrated into all Held "LED Prepared" products Power supply with any standard battery pack via USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection Operating time with a 4.000 m Ah battery approx. 7 hours (battery/powerbank is not included!)
