The detachable lid system has been redesigned & reinforced with stainless steel. It allows the hinge to be locked & the lid to be removed completely. The new hook system, Hold it Active System, makes it even more convenient to use: the case can be tilted without having to completely release it from the side bracket, which makes it easier to open the lid if a topcase is mounted. The system can be activated/deactivated as required, even when the case is mounted.
