TCX RT-Race Pro Air, Boots

The RT-Race Pro Air motorcycle boot is the flagship of the Racing line and is the result of collaboration between TCX s R&D department and MotoGP™ riders. The RT-Race Pro Air includes Fasten Fit Control, a quick lacing system integrated into the boot lining that ensures the upper perfectly wraps the foot and allows for millimeter-level fit adjustment. The closure system of the boot features an aluminum lever with micrometric adjustment and quick release that perfectly adapts the shaft to the different anatomy of the calf, and a side zipper with stretch panel. The motorcycle boots TCX RT-Race Pro Air are equipped with the Double Flex Control Antitorsion system, a joint made of polyurethane positioned in the ankle area, able to control the movement to the millimeter and provide support
and optimal flexibility of the joint to avoid dangerous twists and possible injuries. The upper, made of highly wear-resistant microfiber, is perforated to ensure optimal ventilation of the foot and maintain perfect comfort even in high temperatures. The inner lining is made of breathable AIR TECH mesh fabric and has padding with different thicknesses positioned in the ankle area to provide maximum comfort. The "Burnout" sole, manufactured by TCX in collaboration with the Michelin® Research Center, is inspired by the Michelin® "Power Supersport Evo" tire and features a dual-compound tread pattern with differentiated grip zones designed to provide greater grip on the footpegs and controls, as well as greater wear and abrasion resistance to asphalt. The tread is fully integrated into
the upper and the heel has a slope of the angle, guaranteeing optimal support on the footpegs. There are replaceable magnesium sliders on the toe cap and heel to ease slippage when in contact with asphalt. Additional polyurethane reinforcements are placed in the most exposed areas such as the shin, ankle, toe and heel. “Power Supersport Evo” Tyre D.F.C. Double Flex Control System The D.F.C. System features a PU frame attached to the boot with two lateral hidden screws positioned on the heel counter, at malleolus level. At the back of the boot, the system is equipped with two lugs that slide inside dedicated ‘safety lock’ pockets which allow a back flexibility up to 13 degrees, avoiding the overextension of the ankle joint to limit the risk of injury. The PU frame of the system is thin and shaped around the boot to offer a flat internal surface, which allows a good grip on the bike, and prevent from becoming caught on the bike while riding. D.F.C. System is engineered to also offer a superior level of protection in case of impact, the heel counter is designed to absorb impact energy and
compression and it is equipped with rear and lateral slider to facilitate the natural sliding in case of a fall. F.F.C. Fasten Fit Control (lacing system) The internal fastening system features long-lasting laces joined to the boot lining and a newly designed padded tongue to offer an increased level of comfort. It ensures that the upper wraps the foot, providing maximum fit precision and sensitivity while riding. The Fasten Fit Control offers an adjustable fit according to the rider’s individual foot anatomy.
