The sturdy aluminum bars of the KOBRA hand protectors protect the levers & rider in the event of accidents & falls, while the replaceable hand guards made from impact-resistant polypropylene plastic offer additional protection from the weather, falling rocks & off-road riding. Even more protection & safety! If required, the protective surface of the KOBRA hand protectors can be enlarged using optional EXTENSIONS made from impact-resistant plastic. The extension is screwed to the top edge of the KOBRA hand protector. It blends in seamlessly visually, but offers the hands significantly more protection against wind & weather, as it increases the protective surface by a further 50%.
