Should you ever want to use your lock without the alarm function, a 5 mm locking bolt made from specially hardened steel secures your bike. The ABUS "push down" cylinder is easy to use & locks the bolt automatically. In case you ever misplace the key, three keys are included. A CR2 battery is also included, so nothing stands in the way of immediate use.
