They are permanently waterproof & highly breathable, which means they offer a high level of weather protection. Water stays outside while sweat can escape unhindered. Thanks to the construction without insulation, they are the ideal solution for anyone who values maximum climate comfort & optimal heat dissipation. Laminate Construction The central element of these shoes is a thin three-layer GORE-TEX Extended Comfort laminate without insulation. It consists of a highly abrasion-resistant, ultra quick-drying textile lining, the microporous GORE-TEX membrane made from e PTFE & a protective knitted fabric. Extended Comfort laminates are highly breathable & known for their excellent heat dissipation properties. Feet are permanently protected against the ingress of water, dubious liquids & s&, while sweat that develops in the shoe can escape even faster to the outside. Material technology Gore-Tex® The climate membrane is an extremely thin layer of stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (1.4 billion pores per square centimeter). The pores give the GORE-TEX material its special properties. Waterproof: Products can withstand high water pressure, which can occur in extreme weather conditions & in challenging areas of application. Windproof: This property ensures a comfortable feeling as the clothing does not let wind through & thus maintains your microclimate. Breathable: The material does not allow any water vapor molecules to escape to the outside & thus helps to reduce overheating & the formation of moisture inside clothing. Material technology Cordura This material consists of particularly high-quality polyamide fabric made from cut & spun fibers. It guarantees significantly more abrasion-resistant properties than most other nylon materials & can therefore offer the best protection in the event of a fall. Special Cordura fabrics cover certain areas of application, such as reinforcing areas of motorcycle clothing that are at risk of falling. The impregnation of this fabric also protects against moisture. Material technology EVA sole EVA stands for ethylene vinyl acetate & is a rubber-like plastic. As flexible as rubber soles, however, they are a lot softer. Positive for the comfort: EVA soles prove to be real lightweights. They are also characterized by their high resistance & durability. Even low temperatures can do little to harm the material. On the contrary: The soles conduct less heat or cold than comparable materials & are therefore extremely temperature-resistant.
